Each year, Otafest selects a charity to support through our charity panels and events. Otafest Attendees have made charitable donations to various causes through various fundraising drives and activities. These have included the great “head-shaving” initiative of 2010, and the infamous “chairman-in-a-dress” fundraising drive of 2011. We are very proud of our community for coming together and donating to great causes!
We happily support programming run for fans by fans, which provides the majority of our content. Thank you to all of our panelists, Otafest would not be possible without you! We are also excited to present you with official events including opening & closing ceremonies, concerts, cosplay contests, casual & competitive gaming, a photo booth, guest meet & greets, and so much more!
Our Exhibitor Hall is full of booths where you can find official figures, manga, plushies, posters, and artist tables with a wide variety of drawings, paintings, charms, handmade items, and more. Some artists may also take commission requests for custom pieces.
Our bi-weekly podcast features our hosts, Alfred and Jei, and their guests exploring a wide variety topics from gaming, movies, and YouTube personalities to convention tips, opinion pieces, and weird food tastings. Available on YouTube, iTunes, Google Play, and other platforms!
We make every effort to showcase all of Otafest’s programming on our website, however, due to the ongoing nature of programming creation, there may be more content available at the festival than what is described here! Once released, our schedule will be your resource for the most up-to-date programming information!
