Calgary Parking Authority offers free street parking after 6pm daily and all day Sundays and holidays.
In addition, below is a non-exhaustive list of available parking lots near Otafest, listed in order of proximity. If you are parking overnight, please pay special attention to any instructions.
Calgary’s downtown LRT lines are usually closed for maintenance during Otafest (and every other long weekend of the year). If you’re traveling by LRT, shuttles will be available from the closest station to downtown.
The convention centre has many nearby bus stops including routes 1, 10, 7, 24, 30, 69, 102, 103, 117, 133, 151, 300, 302, 305, and 411.

Otafest acknowledges that the land we gather on is the traditional territory of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations). The City of Calgary is also the home of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
