What if I can’t make it to the Thursday event?

That’s absolutely fine! This is more of a “bonus” event and you are by no means required to attend. You can still pick your wristband up at our Admissions Desk any time between 8am – 7pm on any of the festival days.

Can I pick up someone else’s wristband? Can someone else pick up mine?

The person must physically be present to receive a wristband. Otafest staff must put their wristband on your wrist at the time of redemption.

Can I get my Friday / Saturday / Sunday wristband at this event?

No. You can only redeem a single day pass on the day that the pass is for. This event is specifically for weekend pass holders.

I’m a parent with a single day pass, but my child has a weekend pass, can I come to this event?

Yes! Please accompany your child if that is what makes you and your child feel safe, however as stated above, we won’t have access to our single day wristbands so while we can give your child their wristband, you would still need to come to our Admissions Desk on the day your ticket was bought for in order to receive yours.

Will there be prop check at the Thursday event?

Yes! Our Prop Check team will be present to tag your props so you don’t need to worry about them on Friday!

Will you have copies of the paper schedule/map available?

Yes we will have a limited number! Please note that there is a different paper schedule for each day of the event. If you need one during Otafest, they will be available at our Info Booth. If we run out of schedules at the Thursday event, there will be more available at our Info Booth on Friday. That being said, the most up-to-date version of our schedule will always be online at https://otafe.st/schedule
